New Airport Ticketing Authority
The Yukon government considers the safety and security of the public their number one priority.
Parking in undesignated areas poses a potential safety risk to all airport users.
Effective Immediately
Airport staff will be ticketing any vehicles in violation of the "No Parking" signs in the drop-off and pick-up areas.
Tickets will be issued under section 181 of the Summary Convictions Act, and will cost drivers $50.
Vehicles in the drop-off and pick-up areas are not to be left unattended. Any vehicle left unattended, can be ticketed.
All large courtesy vehicles are asked to utilize the courtesy vehicle area for loading and unloading of passengers.
