Government Seeks Feedback on Climate Change Action Plan

WHITEHORSE – Yukoners are encouraged to comment on the draft Yukon Government Climate Change Action Plan before July 31, Environment Minister Elaine Taylor announced today.

Public consultation began on May 12 and will end on July 31. In addition to the meetings and briefings already held around the territory, there will be an Open House on Wednesday, July 23, in the Shipyards Park Building in Whitehorse from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Environment Yukon staff will be on hand to answer questions, provide an overview, and take down comments and suggestions.

“The draft Action Plan includes information received from many individuals and organizations,” Taylor said.
