Premier Announces Cabinet Shuffle
WHITEHORSE - Premier Dennis Fentie has shuffled his cabinet.
"Members of cabinet will be receiving new portfolios and responsibilities that will allow them to broaden their knowledge and experience within our government system," Fentie said. "Now, at this point in our second mandate, is the appropriate time to make these changes."
The changes to cabinet ministers' portfolios take effect immediately.
Ministers and their portfolios include:

| Minister Elaine Taylor | Deputy Premier, Environment, Tourism and Culture |
| Minister Marian C. Horne | Justice, Women’s Directorate |
| Minister Archie Lang | Highways and Public Works, Community Services |
| Minister Glenn Hart | Health and Social Services, Yukon Workers’ Compensation Health and Safety Board, French Language Services Directorate |
| Minister Jim Kenyon | Economic Development, Yukon Development Corporation, Yukon Energy Corporation, Yukon Housing Corporation |
| Minister Brad Cathers | Energy, Mines and Resources, Yukon Liquor Corporation, Yukon Lottery Commission |
| Minister Patrick Rouble | Education, Public Service Commission |
