WHITEHORSE – Environment Minister Dennis Fentie has extended the deadline for public comment on the proposed Yukon Parks Regulations to Feb. 18.
The proposed regulations will allow Yukoners and visitors alike to safely use and enjoy Yukon campgrounds and parks while protecting the natural resources that make these places special.
An information package outlining the proposed parks regulations is available on Environment Yukon’s website. Printed copies can be picked up from the department’s offices in the communities and at the Yukon government administration building on Second Avenue in Whitehorse.
