Yukon-Shaped Decanter is out of the Ordinary

WHITEHORSE – Minister responsible for the Yukon Liquor Corporation, Jim Kenyon, has announced that Christmas shoppers looking for a unique gift now have the perfect item for the person who has everything.

The Yukon Liquor Corporation has launched a new ceramic decanter in the shape of Yukon. The container is filled with Canadian whiskey and features the familiar gold-panner embossed on the front.

"We see this as something fun, something special," Kenyon said. "It makes a wonderful Yukon souvenir and the timing makes it appropriate for holiday giving."

The corporation strives to offer an interesting and varied selection of products in its stores. When surveyed in 2006, customers indicated a preference for increased variety, including specialty bottles.

The Yukon decanter was developed to address this customer interest. It will also appeal to visitors to the territory, with its striking design and trademark goldpanner.

The special decanters are available in all Yukon liquor stores.
