Appointments Made To Yukon Advisory Council On Women's Issues
WHITEHORSE - Women's Directorate Minister Elaine Taylor is pleased to announce the appointment of a new member and a new chair to the Yukon Advisory Council on Women’s Issues (YACWI).
Julie Ménard was appointed to the council last week. She is the Francophone coordinator for Les EssentiElles and will bring a diverse skill set and unique perspective to the council. Her term expires in two years. She will replace Lisa Hutton as member on the council.
Hutton takes over as chair of YACWI, replacing Amar Dhillon who recently stepped down. Hutton was originally appointed to the council in April 2003.
