Government of Yukon aims to improve the way it involves the public

The Government of Yukon has launched a new engagement website developed to make it easier for Yukoners to provide input on government initiatives. It serves as a directory for all public feedback opportunities, and is part of the government’s new approach to public engagement.

This new approach allows the government to be more open and inclusive when asking the public for their opinions. The government will seek to engage with Yukoners early in the decision-making process and will be transparent about how public feedback is used.

“We believe our work as a government is best accomplished with the active participation of Yukoners. I look forward to building a strong relationship with the public based on trust and honesty, and believe that listening to public input results in sound government.”

–Yukon Premier Sandy Silver
