Yukon’s mining industry promoted at Invest Yukon Pavilion

WHITEHORSE—The Government of Yukon will highlight the territory’s investment readiness at the Invest Yukon Pavilion during the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference taking place January 24 to 25.

“We have several different partners we are working with on this event and we’re pleased to once again showcase Yukon’s mineral resources and investment opportunities,” Minister of Economic Development Stacey Hassard said. “This event builds on the strong industry and government partnership supported by the Yukon Mining Alliance. We are also pleased to be collaborating with the Yukon First Nations Chamber of Commerce as it brings forward First Nations business interests in the mining and exploration sector.”

The Vancouver Resource Investment Conference is the world’s largest investment conference dedicated to resource exploration. The pavilion will provide the territory’s leading exploration, development and mining companies with an ideal venue to present projects to mining investment interests. The forum will help investors understand Yukon is a well-connected, modern and business-ready jurisdiction.

The Government of Yukon works to bring investor attention to Yukon’s mining opportunities and undertake a range of initiatives to attract capital investment from North American, European and Asian financial markets.
