Child Support Administrative Recalculation Service is now available

WHITEHORSE—The Government of Yukon has launched the new Child Support Administrative Recalculation Service for parents seeking to change the amount of child support they currently pay or receive when their income changes.

Either the parent paying or receiving child support can apply to use the Child Support Administrative Recalculation Service. Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the requirements of the Child Support Administrative Recalculation Act.

The service follows the Federal Child Support Guidelines used in the applicants’ original court order and is supported by mandatory reporting of an income tax notice of assessment.

Applications for the service are now being accepted by the Family Law Information Centre.
