Grizzly Valley Subdivision country residential lots for sale in fall 2011

WHITEHORSE—The road construction contract for the Grizzly Valley Subdivision development has been awarded to Cobalt Construction Inc. of Whitehorse, which qualified with the low bid of $4.889 million Minister of Community Services Archie Lang announced today.

“Grizzly Valley Subdivision is one of several land development projects moving forward to help meet the demand for residential lots in Yukon,” Lang said. “The Grizzly Valley Subdivision is located close to the City of Whitehorse and the spacious rural residential lots are large enough to meet a wide range of needs. I am pleased to announce that the lots will be made available for sale by public tender this fall.”

The Grizzly Valley Subdivision development is occurring in two phases. Phase one construction began in February 2011 and will bring 30 rural residential lots ranging in size from three to seven hectares.
