Income Support
Pioneer Utility Grant
Pioneer Utility Grant helps eligible people 65 and over with home heating costs. Seniors who rent or own a Yukon household during the winter months are eligible.
Social Assistance
Yukon Social Assistance is a program that provides financial assistance to people who do not have enough money to live on. The actual costs of utilities are also covered, up to a maximum depending on family size and time of year.
Social Housing Program
The Social Housing Program works with other publicly funded programs to assist low income earners, pensioners, the disabled and individuals receiving other forms of income support with access to safe, suitable, adequate and affordable housing, along with other necessities.
